Success Off the Field
Aggies everywhere know about Texas A&M's womens athletics teams’ success on the field of play. Our women’s teams are even more successful off the field in academics and service to the community. Since joining the SEC in 2012, 277 Texas A&M women have earned SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition through the fall of 2014.

SEC Academic Honor Roll
Requirements: Recipients must have either an overall 3.0 GPA or have earned at least a 3.0 combined GPA during the previous two academic terms and summer term. They must also fit into one of the following three categories: recipient of an athletics scholarship, letterwinner, or a non-scholarship student-athlete who has been on the team for two seasons. Furthermore, recipients must compete on the team during their sport’s NCAA Championship segment.
- 2012-13: 124 recipients
- 2013-14: 127 recipients
- Fall 2014: 26 recipients
NCAA Women’s Enhancement Post-Graduate Scholarship
The NCAA Women’s Enhancement Post-graduate Scholarship was developed by the NCAA Committee on Women’s Athletics and the NCAA Minority Opportunities and Interest Committee. The NCAA awards $7,500 to a female college graduate who is seeking a career in intercollegiate athletics.

Academic Momentum Award
The Academic Momentum Award is awarded nationally to student-athletes each year for their academic improvement and ability to overcome obstacles in pursuit of their education.

Brad Davis SEC Community Service Post-Graduate Scholarship
The SEC Brad Davis Community Service Scholarship is awarded to the top senior male and female athlete with exceptional community service accomplishments during their student-athlete career and includes a $5,000 post-graduate scholarship from the Southeastern Conference.

H. Boyd McWhorter Post-Graduate Scholarship (SEC)
Each year, the SEC awards the H. Boyd McWhorter Scholarship to a top senior male and female student-athlete from each member institution. Award winners are seniors with exceptional athletic, academic and community service accomplishments and are recipients of a $7,500 post-graduate scholarship from the Southeastern Conference.

NCAA Career In Sports Forum
The Career in Sports Forum (CSF) is an annual educational forum hosted by the NCAA that brings together 200 selected student-athletes for four days to learn and explore potential careers in sports, with the primary focus on intercollegiate athletics. The CSF is designed to assist student-athletes in charting their career paths, to give them the opportunity to network and to learn from current athletics professionals.

2015 Peach of an Athlete
The Peach of an Athlete award is given to a Georgia resident who has displayed academic and athletic success and demonstrates the values applauded by the scouting community.

PlayMaker of the Month
The National Consortium for Academics and Sports (NCAS) PlayMaker of the Month award program recognizes the academic achievement and community service of student-athletes at NCAS member institutions. PlayMaker of the Month gives coaches, administrators, teammates, and faculty of NCAS member institutions an opportunity to nominate and recognize those student-athletes who exemplify the NCAS motto of “Changing Lives Through the Power of Sport.”
